These terms govern your use of cyberlyber.com. By reading the site you accept them, and if you do not accept them the remedy is to stop using it. They are written in plain language on purpose, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.
What this site is
CyberLyber publishes written summaries of consumer products, mainly televisions, streaming players, antennas, and kitchen and laundry appliances. Each write up is assembled from the manufacturer’s published specifications and from the retailer listing for that model. It is an editorial and reference site.
Nothing is sold here. There is no order system, no payment is taken, no account is needed and there is no stock. The platform includes a cart and a checkout page as part of its software, but they are unused. Because we sell nothing, there are no shipping terms, no returns process and no warranty administered by us. Those belong to whichever retailer you buy from.
Information, not professional advice
Everything published here is general information for a general audience, and it is not a substitute for professional advice. Nothing on this site is electrical, gas fitting, plumbing, structural, dietary, financial or legal advice. If a purchase or an installation touches any of those areas, take advice from someone qualified in your jurisdiction first.
We also do not physically test, handle or measure the products we write about. There is no laboratory here, no review unit and no bench. Where a write up states a figure, that figure comes from a published specification or a retailer listing and is attributed as such.
Accuracy of specifications
Product data on this site is drawn from manufacturer documentation and retailer listings. That data can be wrong, out of date, incomplete or internally contradictory, and it frequently is. A capacity may be stated one way in a title and another way in a specification table. A wattage field may actually hold a converted gas rating. Dimensions may describe a different variant of the same model number, and manufacturers revise hardware without changing the model name.
Where we spot a contradiction we name it in the text rather than quietly picking a side. That is a reporting decision, not a guarantee that we have caught every one of them. You should treat every figure here as a starting point.
Verify before you buy
Before you purchase anything discussed here, confirm the specifications that matter against the manufacturer’s own current documentation for the exact model number you are buying, and against the live retailer listing. Check the ones that cost money to get wrong: dimensions and clearances, weight, electrical supply and plug type, fuel type, water and drain connections, screen mounting pattern, capacity, and what is included in the box. A cabinet opening a fraction of an inch too small is not a problem you can argue your way out of after delivery.
Appliance safety and installation
This is the clause we most want you to read. The catalog here includes gas fired appliances, appliances needing a dedicated 240 volt circuit, televisions meant to be fixed to a wall, propane and charcoal cookers that burn fuel and produce carbon monoxide, and pressurized carbonation equipment. These are not risk free objects, and a bad installation is dangerous.
- Gas. Connection of any gas appliance, including a natural gas or propane cooker such as the Cuisinart Grillster portable gas grill and everything else in the propane grill category, should be carried out or checked by a qualified gas installer working to the codes that apply where you live. Test connections for leaks and never modify a regulator or a hose fitting.
- Dedicated electrical circuits. Large appliances such as electric dryers, wall ovens and some laundry equipment need a correctly rated, correctly grounded circuit installed by a qualified electrician. Do not run them from an extension lead or an adapter, and do not assume an existing outlet is rated for a replacement machine.
- Water and drainage. Dishwashers, washing machines, plumbed refrigerators and similar equipment involve a pressurized supply and a drain. A dishwasher such as the Bosch 300 Series built in model should be plumbed by someone competent to do it, because a slow leak behind a cabinet can cause more damage than the appliance cost.
- Wall mounting. A television mount, including options like the Mounting Dream full motion mount, must be rated for the weight and the screen size of the set, must match the screen’s mounting pattern, and must be fixed into structure that can carry the load rather than into plasterboard alone. Use the fixings specified for your wall type. A moving arm multiplies the load on the fixings when it is extended.
- Fuel burning cookers. Charcoal and pellet equipment must be used outdoors only, well clear of walls, eaves and anything combustible. Never use one indoors, in a garage or in a tent, including for heating. Carbon monoxide from a fuel burning cooker is odorless and it kills.
- Carbonation equipment. Sparkling water makers use pressurized gas cylinders. Use only the cylinder type and the bottles the manufacturer specifies, respect bottle expiry dates, and do not attempt to refill or modify a cylinder.
Follow the manufacturer’s installation manual and the codes that apply where you live. Where local law requires a licensed trade, that requirement stands regardless of anything written here. Nothing on this site is an installation instruction.
